It's usually very easy to compose a message or written communication on most computers. One simply opens a text editor and begins typing. But what can one do when one needs to compose a message in a language either not supported by their keyboard or not designed to work with a standard keyboard? What if one needs to use a language whose characters simply aren't compatible with the machine they're using? It's sometimes convenient to be able to select the characters one wants to use from a list or chart, one at a time. This can be easily accomplished using the new Lipikar application.

There are many sets of characters for various, non-English languages that are available in the ANSI/ASCII fonts. Unfortunately, there is no way to easily access these character sets in most modern text editors. And if the keyboard doesn't have these characters printed on each key, it's not possible for most people to memorize the position of each character. Lipikar provides a chart of the characters available for any installed font.

Once Lipikar is up and running, the user can select each character of their message, one by one, by clicking on each character with the mouse. Users can compose an entire message in a preview window, and then with one click of a button, they can insert that entire message into whatever text editor or web browser text box they happen to be using. Using Lipikar, it's possible to compose an entire message without even having a keyboard attached to the computer.
